View Tronics is currently addressing this goal globally with two powerful systems: the VIPER digital video disc recorder, and the MAMBA digital audio processing system. Both products are designed with great flexibility; available as basic models with an array of additional options. The VIPER can, for example, be networked via e.g. Fiber Channel with a raid in order to make large volumes of video data available for processing. In such a network configuration VIPER systems can, with respect to their data handling, also be managed in parallel using audio systems such as Pro Tools.
